the hundred factoids that mean absolutely nothing:
1. i wore a lot of purple as a child.
2. i once read a new reader for school in an entire afternoon.
3. my middle name is leigh, after the actress, janet leigh.
4. i was born homeless.
5. i can be irritable at times, but i won't snap at people that often.
6. i strive to be understanding.
7. i loved the smurfs as a kid.
8. hot wheels are still cool to me.
9. sometimes i am frightened by the whispers of narrators on commercials.
10. i puked when my mother cleaned my newly pierced ears with peroxide at age 9 and mentioned that there was "puss" in one of them.
11. the scoliosis film in 5th grade nauseated me, much like item #10. the idea of something being wrong with me causes a physiological reaction.
12. i expect what i give....
13. ....then i give too much.
14. i spelled tulips "two-lips" in the 2nd grade. my mother thought it was brilliant.
15. i have lived in 3 states.
16. ...and 7 different towns.
17. i get wrapped up in things that are bad for me quite often.
18. i bounce back, but it's getting harder.
19. i don't mind that i might seem darker than i used to be. darkness has it's own beauty.
20. i love bands like the cure, the dead, leftover salmon, string cheese incident, and now, bauhaus.
21. i pick up on things from people i meet and make them my own. not all of what they like, just what i dig. i may not be the first to like something, but i am the first to like the compilation of things that i like.
22. popcorn kernels get stuck in my teeth.
23. my brother gave me my first and only black eye when he threw a disney book at me.
24. he cut off part of my gum with another book on a different occasion.
25. i bruised him once with an encyclopedia. we love literature.
26. i believe as a nation we have become too reliant on our government and have not been diligent enough in watching the politicians.
27. i have had glasses since i was 14.
28. i'm on guard.
29. i know what you think about me.
30. and i care.
31. i kept thinking i might meet someone wonderful and settle into some sort of happy family type life full of stability. it hasn't happened.
32. i still believe it might.
33. but i'm not holding my breathe.
34. i can hold my own at a party.

37. i re-invent myself. i am currently undergoing a transformation.
38. i don't ever want to be pigeon-holed into a specific group.

49. my wardrobe contains 4 different navy blue sweatshirts (plain, u.s. navy, girls' state, berkeley...the oldest is 11 years old).

56. fantasy seems to be better than real life. it's quite disappointing.

59. socialization was a lot easier for me when i was younger, though probably not much.

77. my toes have been seperated (i have toe socks), they didn't seem to mind or be traumatized by the affair.

86. i once avoided chicken for 3 years. it was too straining psychologically after hearing horror stories. i now seem to love it, but again...with restrictions.

90. i have issues with my hair, but i can't seem to change it.
